From the passion of Angelo Romano, freelance and aviation historian, a series of books full of details, anecdotes and photographs to revive the legendary history of the US Naval Aviation Squadrons. An idea born from the great passion of a man who, over 55 years, has collected photos and documents on US Navy and Marines aircraft, operating from 1911 to the present day. Over the years, Angelo has collaborated over the years as a freelance with aeronautical magazines such as, Aerei, Air Fan, Le Moniteur de l'Aeronautique, Volare, and the prestigious Aviation Week & Space Technology. His articles and correspondences were the prelude to the release of his first book: WINGS FROM CORAL SEA, a photo-album of the visit in navigation aboard the USS Coral Sea (CV-43), during the first cruise with the F / A-18A Hornets, in 1985-86. This book was followed by another twelve, which have been a great success among fans of the US Navy and military aviation in general. Each volume edited by Angelo is the result of a great research work and passionately tells the story of the aircraft, their design, and operations, and is enriched with technical details and unit patches.
